Byron has spent his career creating some of television’s most popular programs.  Surely you’ve have heard of them! The Super Bowl, The World Series, The Stanley Cup Finals, The NBA Finals, NBC Dateline, America’s Most Wanted, Ice Road Truckers, Wicked Tuna, Ax Men, and the list goes on.

imgres imgres-1In addition to cinematography Byron is an accomplished wildlife photographer who has traveled the world to capture award winning images.  Byron volunteer’s his efforts with non-profit wildlife organizations, including the Wildlife Act in South Africa.Their imagery is currently being used to bring awareness to the plight of endangered species including animals like the South African Painted Wolf, the Black Rhino and the Black Leopard.

With Byron’s vast experience, he has the tools that provide valuable insight on how to get involved in television and photography, and how to be “relevant” in an ever evolving industry. Byron is now available for “Lectures”. Topics include:

RIMG_8607eality Television – This program explores the “reality” of reality television.  Is it real?  Byron shares stories about what it’s like to work in harsh environments including filming at 70 degrees below zero on Ice Road Truckers and shooting in a coal mine more than a mile beneath the earths crust.  Learn what its really like to work on a blue fin tuna boat or how to sneak through the cover of darkness to film the repossession of a 2 million dollar corporate jet.

 

156-5636_IMGSports Television– This program explores what its like to shoot some of the worlds premier sporting events.  Byron discusses the in’s and out’s of shooting events like the Super Bowl, NASCAR, NBA Finals, The World Cup, NASCAR and many others.  Having spent 5 years as Fox Sports Net’s Chief Photographer, Byron is uniquely qualified to give perspective and insight to the worlds largest sporting spectacles.

 

Ox Charge 1Wildlife Photography-  This program covers techniques and secrets to capturing amazing wildlife photography.  This is not a course in how to operate a camera.  Instead, Byron gives tips as to what equipment you will need in certain situations, including lenses and gadgets.  He also teaches the do’s and dont’s of how to approach animals in their natural environment.
